Step 1: Define Your “Some-Day” Goals

Many women stay stuck because they haven’t clearly defined what they want—or they’ve buried it under guilt, fear, or busyness.

So let’s bring those dreams into the light with this Bold Action Challenge.

👉 Take 5 minutes and write down 3 goals you’ve been putting off.
Think of the areas where you keep saying, “I’ll get to it eventually.” Health? Finances? A calling? A hard decision you’ve been avoiding?

Here are My 3 Bold Action Goals for the Week:

  1. 3-Day Fast – I’m only eating vegetables and drinking 84 ounces of water per day. No sugar or sugar substitutes allowed. This is my physical and spiritual reset.
  2. Strategic Financial Planning – I’m creating a complete plan this week with dates, deadlines, and action steps to reach our financial goals.
  3. Make the One Decision – There’s a major personal decision I’ve been putting off, and this week, I’m making it — and setting the deadline in motion.

Tips to define your Bold Action Challenge goals clearly:

  • Tip #1: Start with what’s bothering you the most. That’s often your biggest clue.
  • Tip #2: Use the SMART method—make goals Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
  • Tip #3: Pray over your list. Ask God for clarity on which ones to focus on right now.

Scripture reminder:
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
You don’t have to be who you were yesterday. You can take new action today.

Step 2: Get Your Mind Right – (Because Mindset Matters more than you think)

Before we can live differently, we have to think differently.

Taking bold action starts with mindset. If you don’t believe it’s possible, you won’t even try. I’ve had moments where I told myself, “It’s too hard,” “I don’t have time,” or “What if I fail?” That’s the voice of fear—not faith.

When I finally admitted I was letting fear hold me back from the hard decisions—like getting serious about my health, or having real money conversations—I realized the only way through was to act anyway.

Here’s how to shift your mindset:

  • Write down the lies you’ve been telling yourself. Replace them with truth. — Really do this! It is the key to the success of our Bold Action Challenge. The enemy is good at helping you to believe these lies.
  • Remember: discomfort now = freedom later. — Oh gosh how I wished this weren’t true, but I know it is…!
  • Speak life over your goals. Write declarations based on scripture. — Here are some scripture to look up to help you speak life over your goals:

For example:
Instead of “I’ll never lose this weight,” say, “My body is a temple, and I’m caring for it daily.”

Step 3: Take One Small Bold Action Challenge Step Today

You don’t need to finish the race today—you just need to start moving.

That might mean:

  • Grocery shopping for your fast
  • Booking a time on your calendar to work on your plan
  • Telling your spouse or friend about your decision so they can hold you accountable

💡 Remember: Action leads to clarity. Inaction leads to confusion.

I’m keeping it simple:

  • I stocked up on veggies and set alarms for water breaks.
  • I’m putting our budget dates on the calendar.
  • I made a personal commitment with a real deadline for that third goal.

You don’t need perfect conditions—just progress.

Final Thoughts

If you define your goals, reset your mindset, and take one small bold step today, you’ll be well on your way to living with more purpose, peace, and power.

And if you mess up? Grace is always available. This isn’t about perfection—it’s about obedience and intentionality.

I really like your message and guidance here. We always are apt to put important things off until “tomorrow”. Acting with the urge with your realistic guide is so much better than “later”. Great help!
